Everything runs in your browser: your input and files are never uploaded.
How to use
- Paste JSON, XML (including SOAP) or YAML into the editor: it is formatted and highlighted instantly.
- “Minify” turns the document into one line; press it again to restore formatting.
- “Convert” turns JSON into YAML or CSV, XML into JSON and YAML into JSON.
- Enable “Compare” to see which lines changed between two versions.
- Found a JWT in your JSON? Click it to decode.
FAQ
How does it know what I pasted?
From the first significant character: < means XML or SOAP, { or [ means JSON. Anything that looks like YAML is checked as YAML.
Is my data sent to a server?
No. Everything runs in your browser, so API responses with tokens and personal data are safe to paste.
What does “Minify” do?
Removes all extra whitespace and line breaks. For XML it also removes comments and keeps CDATA. You can copy and download both the minified and the formatted version.
How do I convert JSON to CSV for Excel?
Click “Convert” → “CSV”. The JSON should be an array of objects; nested fields become dotted columns (user.name).
Why is JSON with single quotes invalid?
The JSON standard allows only double quotes, no comments and no trailing commas.
