How are characters without spaces counted?
Spaces, tabs and line breaks are excluded. Punctuation and digits are counted.
How are words counted?
A word is a run of letters or digits. Hyphenated words (“well-known”) count as one.
How many characters fit in an SMS?
160 characters for plain Latin text. With Cyrillic or emoji only 70, and long messages split into 67-character parts.
How long should a title and description be?
Search engines usually show about 60 characters of a title and 150–160 of a description. Longer text is truncated.
